Quiero ser jacaranda / I want to be a jacaranda

Yo quiero compartir flores, colores, ritmo.

Jacarandas
are so sensitive to what surrounds them.
In places with freshness, they are patient,
knowing when to let go of their flowers to make a carpet with their tenderness.
When there is sun, it seems like they make their step quicker
to have thousands of leaves, together offering refuge from the middle day.
Their roots are strong, notorious.
Their branches, as if they flew to kiss the sky.
I want to share flowers, colors, rhythm.
I want to know what other souls I can embrace with.
I want branches to reach,
roots to get through times.
I want flowers to remember the shortness but beauty of life,
and that sometimes, like in jacarandas, you can build nests.
