Moonrise / Salida de la luna

For my friends who are in love with the moon...

The flirtatious moon peeks between the angles of the stone wall.
She takes her time.
The river slides patiently, waiting.
The wind and time run to the rhythm of the same song, waiting.
The sky explodes into stars, waiting.

And suddenly,
everything stops.
Not a single breath, as the moon gracefully rises dressed in fine cloudy clothes.

Then the music, the wind, the river and the sky keep going, knowing that it was worth the wait.

Between orange and red lines,
stand pieces of blue sky
cut by long and short, scattered clouds.
I want to eat the vast landscape.
Melt in the curved lines of the rocks.
Hug you, hug me, hug.
Just open my arms and my heart,
and capture the magic of today, of right now.
I feel more alive than ever.

Entre líneas naranja y rojo
se alzan pedazos de cielo azul
entrecortados por nubes largas y cortas, esparcidas.
Quiero comerme el inmenso paisaje.
Fundirme en las curvilíneas de las rocas.
Abrazarte, abrazarme, abrazar.
